Welcome to Aura: anxiety relief (“we,” “our,” or “the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our mobile application.

The short version: Your journal entries, mood history, and energy logs are stored locally on your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not sell your personal data. Subscription and payment status are processed through Apple (StoreKit / App Store) so we can provide Premium features.

2. Data Controller

We do not operate user accounts or store your journal/mood content on our servers. Most information stays on your device. We act as the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy (for example, subscription status via Apple and support emails).

3. Data Collection and Storage

3.1. Local Storage (content you create)

All content you generate within the App (including journal entries, energy ratings, and mood selections) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data / SwiftData technology. We (the developers) have no access to this content.

3.2. No Account Required

You do not need to create an account to use the App. We do not ask for your email, phone number, or social media credentials to use the App.

3.3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases (Apple)

If you purchase or restore a subscription, billing is handled by Apple via StoreKit / the App Store.

When applicable, the App may receive from Apple:

• subscription / entitlement status (e.g., whether Premium access is active);
• technical purchase-related information needed to unlock Premium features and to restore purchases.

The App may also store limited related information locally on your device (for example, entitlement state and a temporary access window) solely to manage Premium access inside the App.
